That said, I like the laid back, quiet atmosphere

I do too. I've become so grandma lately. I actually haven't been to Lock and Key in a while (forgot about it until just now), but I'll have to keep it in mind next time Jones wants to grab drinks on a Friday night.

We always hit up ole reliable (Bulldog), but I can barely make it to midnight anymore. Would be nice to have somewhere quieter.

Please share the road

I try to. The roads we hit on the N. Shore are pretty desolate. We never ride more than two abreast. A driver might lose four seconds if they get caught behind us.
The S. Shore is a different story. It's a pretty large group. All of the roads we use are 4-lane and we pretty much occupy the entire lane. We move as one entity, so it is essentially the same as two cars in one lane. Most of that route is actually out in the East where we have the least trouble from motorists.

GRAND RESERVE DAY

I fricking wish.

Any chance I find this somewhere next week or will it only be available at the brewery?

“Black Friday” November 28th – Parish Grand Reserve Event At The Pub

Parish Brewing, Grand Reserve Celebration – 1pm tappings!

Grand Reserve Day at Parish Brewing is Nov 22nd so if you can make it to Lafayette you should go! This is one of our favorite annual releases. It will be released at the Brewery on Saturday Nov 22 and will ship to New Orleans on that date as well. We will tap it as soon as it arrives but since we are never sure exactly how long the trucks will take we have chosen Nov 28th as our celebration and we have some real treats in our cellar set aside for that day! Plus secret surprise tapping at 5pm

Andrew Godley will be here in the late afternoon/early evening, but we will have the kegs tapped and the bottles pouring by 1pm when the upstairs bar opens! For more info on the big day at Parish Brewing Company check their Facebook page!

Draft Pours:
•Grand Reserve 2014
•New Batch Ghost In The Machine
•New Farmhouse IPA w/ Chinook
•New Release Imperial Reserve Stout
•Envie Pale Ale
•Canebrake
•Southcoast Amber Ale

Bottle Pours:
•Grand Reserve 2012
•Grand Reserve 2013

I want to say they said they'd be in BR around Thanksgiving.

*I don't think you'll get it Wednesday.
