Must Win...

Though I think this an over used term, but this is a must win game for us on Monday night. With 6 games left on the schedule:
vs. Ravens:
@ Steelers:
vs. Panthers:
@ Bears:
vs. Falcons:
@ Bucs:
We have to win against the Ravens, Panthers, Falcons, and Bucs. I think there is a strong possibility we will lose to @ Steelers due to playing on the road AND having an extra week to prepare for us. Bell, Brown, and Martavis Bryant are scary, especially against our injured secondary. Then @ Bears is a toss up depending on what Jay Cutler shows up, I would say it could be a track meet but playing on the road our offense this year has done a lot of 3 and out series. I have confidence in us winning Monday night then winning the rest of our remaining division games to finish the season 8-8, with a possibility of 9-7 IF we beat DA BEARS on the road!

Your math is wrong on your predictions if you have us losing to the Steelers.

WRONG!
This game is not even REMOTELY CLOSE to being a must-win game.
And WE WILL LOSE.
And we can (hopefully will) still beat Carolina (home), Atlanta (home), and Tampa (away) and those 3 wins would most-likely win the division.

I bet according to Drew, this is not a 'must win'.

Winning this game is much more important to this team than simply getting a W.

We played so poorly when he made that comment

Who cares about the rest of the schedule. Can we just win the fricking game?

We have a legitimate shot at winning all 4 of these games. If we could just win 1 of these next 2, I think we finish 9-7 and win the division

We keep talking about what we need to do to make it into the playoffs and how we're still in it due to our crappy division...
But if the team can't start playing better the postseason will be a joke anyway. I just wanna see improvement and some fight out of this team.

Really Carolina and Atlanta (and sorta Tampa) are the MUST-WINS. For everything else our divisional standing still actually depends on whether Carolina and Atlanta lose or not. We are behind both those teams, and need to either win one more game than them at the end, or be tied and own a tiebreaker with them. In the case of Carolina we need to win TWO more games than they win, because they have a tie, which counts in their record as half a win. A 7-8-1 record for Carolina would beat a 7-9 Saints in that scenario. The other games only matter if Atlanta or Carolina accidentally wins one of theirs and we have to keep up.

No, we don't
We need to win 1 more game than they do
Going forward, we need to win zero more games than them

Here's Atlanta's Schedule --
Cleveland
Arizona
@ Green Bay
Pittsburgh
@ New Orleans
Carolina
I see Atlanta losing to either Cleveland or Pittsburgh -- possibly both.
Plus they'll definitely lose to Green Bay and Arizona.
Carolina is a toss up.
So, they'll have at least 3 more losses.
If they Saints beat them, that's 4 losses.
So, if the Saints take care of business against the Falcant's at home, the best Atlanta can do is 6-10.
So, no, I don't think the Ravens game is a must win.
I think Carolina is already mentally out of the race.

Damn...that's a pretty brutal schedule

I'll be stunned if we finish 8-8. I think the game against Atlanta will determine who goes from the south. Us at 7-9 or them at 7-9. Unless Carolina flips some switch and goes 7-8-1.
Seriously I think there's about a 50% chance that us and ATL will go 6-10 and Carolina gets in at 6-9-1.

Tomorrow is not even close to a must win. Just another game win or lose the Saints control their own destiny. Just win your divisional games
