for the Obama pain train. And things will get progressively worse for him when the GOP senate take control. I support the office of the President of the United States. But this president has lost 90% of his credibility. Even worse than Bill Clinton which I thought was impossible and still be in office. As far as this EO on immigration, I believe it's long overdue. Yes, we must secure the borders but there is a human element. As Americans we must rise above petty politics if we want this country to survive as having the potential to be well respected and regarded as a world power. Immigrants are what made us a great nation to begin with. Let's not lose sight of that.
This EO is a drop in the bucket. He can't campaign anymore so this looks like an act of desperation to put the left in a good political light. The real boom happened on 11-04-2014. That was the beginning of the American people saying we want our country back.

:blah:

Nothing has changed on a fundamental level, however. It is smoke and mirrors when both parties are bought and paid for by the same people.

The melt will reverberate in the heads of liberals forever.

There are European countres that are well respected around the world that control, tighten and regulate the frick out of their borders and immigration polices.

Why is that?

Having a massive welfare state and open border at the same time is not sustainable at all.

Republicans can do outreach to the Hispanics all they want but you will never get them until you fully embrace amnesty and the problem with that is it basically opens up the border and that is a goddamn disaster waiting to happen when we are handing out welfare and entitlements left and right. Socialism/welfare and open borders don't mix at all.

Under the only circumstances we can have an open border is if there is no welfare state and entitlements or they are strictly, strictly, controlled and regulated. Socialism and open borders don't mix. I've never understood how we have such a liberal immigration policy compared to the rest of the world.

Even socialistic European countries understand this and they protect their borders to the fullest extent as open borders does not mix at all with their collectivist way of life and philosophy. To attempt to do so is to destroy your country via financial ruin through dependency and cultural deterioration.

I don't have a problem with open borders if we don't have a welfare state. I have a problem with open borders if we have a welfare state. Put simply, liberals can't have both. They have to choose one; the entitlement state or open borders.

But anyway, this is all a moot point as the GOP, democrats and big business wants immigration with the cheap labor they can exploit with tired, hungry and desperate people, and they want a new voting bloc as well.

USA will always be a welfare state to some extent. Something must be done about the borders, and I have zero confidence that this president will do anything to secure them. The point I'm trying to make is, accept the inevitable, knowing that this lawless behavior has an expiration date. And it's only a little over a month away. And there will be consequences for these accumulated rogue actions.
