The fact that Obama is making efforts to direct this announcement to a mostly Spanish-speaking audience is just one more indication of what a coward he is. Obama will never stand for another election in his lifetime, yet he is worried about the fallout from this.

Of course, it could partly be that he is simply choosing to act like a bitch.

I wonder if their internal polling indicates that even black people are opposed to this?

Could this President be so desperate for the huge favoring crowds again, that's helping Obama go forth with this. I could see Obama being excited at the thought of a loving huge crowd(Immigrants will rejoice) one more time. It's been awhile for him. Obama was used to having massive crowds praising him at 1st. That desire to relive all that could be helping push Obama to do this.

We gotta remember Obama is a person too and he's not immune to emotional problems too. People walked out on Obama during this past election cycle wherever he went. Shoot, even Black folks walked out on Obama now. That gotta be a hurtful thing to ones feelings and ego. This man was energizing 100,000 plus crowds back in 2008-2009, and I wonder if Obama has some kind Sport/Rock Star midlife-crisis happening. When Sport/Rock stars retire or get hurt, and the lights go down. Many yearn for that huge crowd feeling again and would do almost anything to relive those moments. Obama could be doing the same, and maybe he yearns for the big favoring crowds again too. Considering how many think Obama has got a huge ego, this isn't to far of a stretch. Who knows, but this went through my head while trying to make sense of all this craziness.

The difference is that the Berlin Wall was to keep people IN. We need a wall to keep people OUT. Actually, I've never been in favor of a wall on the southern border. Land mines will do.
