Are you saying LSU should start booking concerts at the Greek amphitheater? Have you actually seen it?

I'll probably never see Phish again after that Jazzfest show. Time to give up on 3.0 for good. That was the nail in the coffin. I had already given up on traveling after the Pelham show I went to. Swore I wouldn't see them again unless they came to Nola. They finally came to Nola and it was terrible. If they came back for Jazzfest, I'd probably skip their set for one of the better shows on the smaller stages.

I think it helped reduce the crowd at the robert plant. All the noodle dbags went to phish while all the musically keen festival goers went to robert plant.

It was enjoyable wayching the meltdown on here though. Heady and blue velvet talked about this for years "oh man how awesome would it be if phish played in new orleans and we could go with all of our friends? Theyll never do it but it would be so awesome"
Then trey came in town only to promote trey songz and shite on nola phans' dreams

You gave up on Phish after a festival set?

yeesh. I don't think you were ever much of a fan to start if that's true.

The 5 or 6 shows I saw pre-Jazz Fest definitely played a factor. Jazz Fest was just icing on the cake. I decided not to travel again for Phish after Pelham; where I was Possum'd.

What shows did you see?

I would never travel more than about a 5-6 hour car drive for Phish anymore, and I'm a huge fan

But they'll have stretches that can last weeks like the beginning of the Summer Tour this year where every show is good, and it would be worth touring with them for that. Unfortunately they are impossible to really predict.

But fest sets sucking for Phish is a tradition that stretches back into the mid-90's. They just play vanilla shows at fests, they just do.
