No, he said we have been perfect tenants and that he is very sorry to do this to us. His parents are moving back to AZ and want the house. It's our fault...we should have pushed for an actual lease renewal when the lease was up last June. We knew rents had gone up in the area and when he didn't send a lease we kept sending rent each month and he cashed the check. So I didn't want to bring it up and have him jack up our rent several hundred to be at the current level of other rentals in the area. That backfired in my face.

OH HELLLLLLL NO!! Just gotta find another rental in the area....before the end of the year. The plan was to stay in our current rental house until we had enough saved up for a down payment on a house. I didn't want to have to move again unless it was a house I owned. Oh well. We actually hate the house(it's old and badly in need of renovation), the location is just so awesome.
