Looking for the best way to maintain an email group...

We have a group of 30-40 guys that have the need to stay in touch via email. As of now, everyone's email address is listed in the "To" field and someone usually just "replies all" to one of the emails. Often, someone is missing from the list and gets excluded when this happens. So, looking for a email group service that we can use to send an email to some group email address and then it forwards it to everyone.
I know Google Groups exists, but I just want to know what the best ones are. Privacy and reliability and the ability to easily remember the "group email address"...thoughts?

Is this the group that all the noods get sent to from around here? If so, I could resolve the issue for a small charge of being added to the list... All joking aside, Google Groups would do what you are wanting to do.

You can probably set up a private mailing list with your web host. These usually archive all the emails too, so nothing should ever go missing. The downside is someone will probably have to maintain it.
Another option is just a simple forward-only address with your host. You don't get the archiving and management features, but it's simple to just add and remove addresses.
Or you could just give them access to the private boards here.
