Indie fuzz-rock that shines in its simplicity layered with the strain of Hamilton Leithauser's lyrics. The band is somewhat polarizing as they stick with the same sound throughout their catalog, but they're in my top 5 favorites. The group is on indefinite hiatus, however, the members are still actively making music. If anyone is interested in listening to the group for the first time, I recommend starting with Lisbon or Heaven as they are the most approachable. Some of my favorite tracks by LP:

Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone

We've Been Had

Wake Up

Rue the Day

Bows + Arrows

The Rat

The Rat is easily their most well known song. Snare drum, you da real MVP.

Little House of Savages

Thinking of a Dream I Had

A Hundred Miles Off

Louisiana

All Hands and the Cook

Lost in Boston

You & Me (Probably my favorite album)

Donde Esta La Playa?

On The Water

In the New Year

Lisbon

Juveniles

Angela Surf City

Victory

Heaven

We Can't Be Beat
This song kind of foreshadowed their breakup

Heartbreaker

The Witch

The Love You Love

Enjoy
