Ever since the one in Zachary closed, I have been looking for one with similar quality and selection. Lets just say for the past 2 years it has been terrible. Can anyone suggest a place with a large selection and good quality. I live in Prairieville and would be willing to drive about an hour or so to get to it. Also, I like to cut the tree down so none that don't allow that.

The only one I've been to is in Springfield. It seemed decent but not sure how it compares to others. By the time I got there all the good trees were tagged.

Damn. That place brings back some childhood memories. Dad yelling and cussing trying to strap a tree to a top of a Ford Astro Van. Good times.

I am in your boat as well. Curious if there is anywhere around that fits the bill.

Pretty sure that one in ethel is one I have been to. There is one in pearl river that looks nice but I'm looking for someone with experience.

Every since they have closed we went to Tiger Branch christmas tree farm. They have a very large selection of trees, not as much as the old farm in Zachary but the largest I've seen since. Do not waste your time at Yawn Station christmas tree farm in Independence .

Christmas Memories tree farm in Magnolia Miss. You cut your own tree and have good trees. They open Thanksgiving after lunch for the season. Really good family experience with music piped thru the woods.

This one may have some promise. No experience though. YawnStation
Don't be fooled by the description. Definitely not up to par with Christmas Forest. You will drive a long ways and be disappointed.
