Since next week I'll be out of town for most of the week with very little internet access, I figured I would start this thread a little early. Some friends and I are heading to Pitt for our annual Saints away game very early the Friday after Thanksgiving.
We arrive around 1:00 with nothing really planned for the afternoon. We have dinner reservations for Friday and Saturday but that's pretty much all we have planned. Are there any must do's, bars to check out, places to avoid, etc. I know we'll be freezing our asses off but we'll fight through it. Any other who dats headed up there?

All I can tell you is don't go to Primanti Bros. That place sucks. It's hyped as this must eat place, but you go there and this just crappy deli sandwiches with undercooked frozen french fries in them.

Friday we have dinner at Six Penn Kitchen. Saturday breakfast at Meat and Potatoes. Dinner Saturday Butcher and the Rye. Sunday breakfast at Habitat. All walking distance from the hotel.

Early forecast is showing snow and ice mix precipitation for the weekend. Game could get ugly fast; which usually happens when we decide to go to an away game.

I will say three river stadium has a solid selection of beer and food. Enjoy that.

Not bad. Friday night is a Pens game against Carolina.

We will have a tailgate setup in Gold lot 1. First lot east of Heinz Field. That is unless its brutally bad weather. If thats the case we may not tailgate and just go eat brunch somewhere.

I fly home Monday to Nola for the MNF game then come back up Friday with my Dad for the Steelers game.

Solid week of football you have planned. I'll be at the MNF game and heading to Monroe to see family and do some hunting. I'll be out in the sticks so internet will be limited. The Pens game could be fun. I've only caught a minor league hockey game and all they did was fight; which was sweet

Get the roethlisburger. That a-hole from that commercial with the bandwagon nfl family (the one with the slut sister who got fricked by emmitt snith) really likes it, even though he's a ginger. fricking gross
