Quick Trade Veto Question

On free ESPN league of 10 players it says 4 people required to veto/cancel a trade.
My question is once it gets the 4 vetos does the trade automatically cancel.. or does it still have to wait for the 2 days process period to go through.

I really do not know the answer to this because I have never seen even 1 vote to veto in my league
My assumption is that it would automatically cancel the trade with the 4th vote
