Someone told me that Jackson has combined their city tax system with the entire county to recover taxes lost from white flight. Is that true?

That would help explain why Clinton was turning so shitty. I knew several family aged ppl that were pulling out and heading to madison. It is ashame olde town Clinton had potential to be an awesome little spot. Most of the white flight has been to madison or rankin counties though.
