I'm thinking that they actually create a new dinosaur. Like INGEN mixes several Dino DNA's to create a super beast

If that's the case then they should've let this movie go straight to SyFy.

Wasn't there a more badass than T-Rex but completely forgettable dino in Jurassic Park 3? Of course that whole movie pretty much sucked imo.

Well, I know that the "Spinosaurus" is the bigger and badder dinosaur. They apparently had one in JP3, but I don't remember that movie at all. It's much bigger and is considered the hunter dinosaur.

Unfortunately, they look like giant alligators with long legs. T-Rex is still the most feared in my opinion.

In this universe, a park was finally built housing real dinosaurs and it has been rather successful for a some time now.

I believe this exists in the same universe as the original 3. A new company has bought out a flounering Ingen and has realized the Jurassic Park dream of Hammond like you said.

The T-Rex may be the most famous and known by everyone, but Spinosaurus would wreck him in a second.

Actually the Rex would stomp the Spino. Strongest bite force of any animal to exist.

Fight should have been over in the first few seconds in the movie

The Masrani also mentions the Biri tribe.
The tribe, and Mount Sibo were first mentioned in Telltale’s Jurassic Park: The Game.

This implies that the game could end up being an official part of film canon.

Also of note.
InGen was acquired by Masrani in 1998 shortly after John Hammond’s death.
Jurassic World began construction with aide from InGen Security in 2002. (A year after Jurassic Park III).
Hopefully the film explains the fate of Isla Sorna.

Yeah, I noticed quite a few parallels between the game and the website as well.

The game gave a good explanation as to why the dinosaurs in the park weren’t entirely scientifically accurate, blaming Wu (whom we know is going to have a bigger role) for his reckless genetic engineering. I hope that this is touched on in the movie because it retcons the problematic scientific aspects of things like venom-spitting Dilophosaurus. Don’t forget that the Velociraptors were mysteriously unlisted in the Park brochure leaked a few months ago, so I think there’s certainly room for more dinosaurs, like JP: The Game’s nocturnal, glowy-eyed, venomous Troodons.

Revisiting the idea of Wu’s reckless genetic engineering also gives logical room for the appearance of Indominus rex (or Diabolus rex, I’ve been hearing conflicting reports), an apparent amalgamation of several different species. Many Jurassic Park fans cry foul at this plot development, but I think it works well with the JP canon in the fact that EVERY dinosaur in Jurassic Park is a hybrid between the amber-encrusted DNA and the DNA of a frog. If Wu’s addition of frog DNA to the Dilophosaurus was what caused them to spit venom (as was revealed in JP: The Game, assuming it’s canon from the Masrani website reveals), I think that the advancements of genetic engineering since Jurassic Park would involve much more than simply frog DNA, like the apparent addition of cuttlefish DNA leading to a much stranger animal in the D-rex. If the addition of frog DNA changed the dinosaur’s phenotype so much that they could spontaneously change sex from female to male, the addition of other animals’ DNA could cause much more severe changes.

For this plot point I think that the D-rex will be based on either a Carcharodontosaurus or a Giganotosaurus, based on the recent Lego toy leaks. Both of these carnivorous dinosaurs are larger than Tyrannosaurus rex. From the descriptions we’ve heard, the D-rex may be able to camoflague itself like the Carnotaurus could in “The Lost World” novel and arcade game, possibly resulting from the cuttlefish genes.

I could be wrong, I’m just trying to piece together what little information we have.

The website they're talking about is here.

It's weird seeing Chris Pratt not dressed as Star Lord.

I really think he has big star potential. Think he's a good actor and can do action and comedy well. Like to see him in some sort of drama though before calling him a great actor.
