I got the PS3 Lego Batman and The Sly Collection bundle for my son for his bday. 500gb version for 249.99 on Amazon if others are looking. I have a few questions:
1. Will a 7 year old be able to play and enjoy the batman game?
2. Is The Sly collection any good?
3. What are the differences, advantages/disadvantages of a digital download vs a hard copy of a game?
4. Most importantly, what would be the best sports games for a 7 year old? Easy to play and fun to play as the top criteria. Older/cheaper versions preferred.

Eta: feel free to recommend games you know a 7 year old would enjoy from any genre.

There are all sorts of indie platform era that would be great for a 7 YO.

Digital download might be good if he is not very responsible. Disc can get scratched if not taken care of and with digital you have no discs to worry about. But you can not trade in digital download...

I have a 7 year old also.
He loves the lego games, any of them
also Skylanders and/or Disney Infinity
but mainly Skylanders
I don't play sports games so my son doesn't either, although I can tell you that he gets quite upset (like the flying red arse) when a game is too difficult
