Poseur from ATVS wrote an article either about that or a road trip to baylor wherein i think (my memory is kinda crap) that pumped in music isn't great for the fans but really great for the players. that the players want to hear rap and not AC/DC, garth brooks, etc from older generations (i.e. the fans). that its for them, not for us and he's ok with that.

I wanted to go through my tv when I heard "On to the Next One" being played after they won. Those are some arrogant mother frickers, I swear.

However, to Baylor's credit, they make a disadvantage an advantage. Without the binds of tradition, Baylor uses a ton of pumped in music. That might make a lot of y'all's hearts sink, but they do it to great effect. Instead of pumping up the crowd, the music is designed to pump up the team. The playlist isn't country or ‘80s hair metal, the preferred stadium music choice of generic white people. No, it's nothing but hip hop, and almost all of it recent. They are playing stuff the players like, and they get into it. The sideline was constantly jumping around and dancing to the stadium music, particularly after big plays. I wouldn't mind if LSU did this occasionally because I like tradition, but I like winning more. This was something designed to help the players' play better. They enjoyed it, and let's face it, it worked. The players got jacked up and erases a 21-point deficit. Of course, LSU did the same thing against MSU with the benefit of a traditional band. Tiger Stadium is beginning to pump in more music, so here's my request: more Nelly, less Guns ‘n Roses. I don't care what you like, I care what the players like.

Yeah you could tell Landon Collins really got amped up every time we played "Bitch I'm from Louisiana" or whatever it's called. And we played it a bunch.

Really…..????
So this is what we have to play over the stadium speakers. Here is a link to the lyrics of "No Flex Zone." LINK
Here are also a few clips….
"****s throw sets and gang bang"…..
"Don't check I'm that ****, sit on my Balmain zipper"…...
"Got a airtight schedule, frick your bitch, just met her"…..
Please don't tell me about a "clean version." The intent of the the song remains, even if you bleep out or scramble out the offensive words. And yes, I don't think we should play "B!tch, I'm from Louisiana" in Tiger stadium either.
Another music reference in the article was by "C-Murder/Snoop Dog." "C-Murder" is really Corey Miller who is currently serving a life sentence in prison for shooting and killing a 16 year old in Harvey, Louisiana. He was also convicted of shooting at a bar owner and bouncer in Baton Rouge.
I think a healthy mix of live and recorded music is the right choice. The recorded music should be screened for offensive lyrics/intent.
Is this what our players are listening to as they walk down victory hill with their headphones in place? I think the players should take the headphones out as they walk down the hill as a show of respect to the fans.

This trash does not belong in Tiger Stadium!!
A few lines from "We Dem Boys"
"Pussy must be serious (hol' up)
Scared of heights come face your fears (hol' up, hol' up)
Do it just like Nicki go'n n bend it over (bus' it wide)
Say she never smoked I turned her to a stoner (smoking now)
Young **** but I'm ready (but I'm ready)"
