Les was:
28-21
0-3 in bowl games
3-10 against ranked teams

When he was hired by LSU from okiestate. He is now the best winning percentage of an lsu coach.

Less miles didn't make lsu. We made him.

Some of you "fans" seem to be bigger fans of the coach than LSU...

No my first thread was about other coaches.

If we run him off there is no way LSU could land another 28-21 coach. Better stick it out. 2016 is our year.

It's funny people don't realize you're a troll and actually agree with you.

Nick Saban was 34-24-1 and 0-3 in bowl games at Michigan State before coming to LSU...

Thanks for proving my point.

You didn't even realize you did it either, did you?

I completely agree. Miles benefited from Saban waking up a Sleeping Giant.

Miles has gotten way too much credit over the past decade.

3-10 against ranked teams

When he was hired by LSU from okiestate. He is now the best winning percentage of an lsu coach.

And Mike Gundy has a much better winning percentage at Oklahoma St. than Miles did:

Gundy - 82-43 (.656%)

Miles - 28-21 (.571%)

I posted this Saturday morning before South Carolina beat Florida & Georgia beat Auburn (coaches who have better records than Miles):

quote:

On the field, Alabama has the best record (among SEC teams) since 2005.

Since 2007, Saban has a better overall and SEC record.

Urban Meyer had a better overall and SEC record at Florida than Miles does at LSU.

Gus Malzahn has a better overall and SEC record since he's been in the league.

Mark Richt has a better record in conference games since 2012 (same overall record as Miles - 27-9).

Gary Pinkel has a better overall and SEC record over the last 2 years.

Dan Mullen has a better conference record over the last 2 years.

After beating Florida, Spurrier also has a better overall and conference record since 2012.

After beating Auburn, Mark Richt now has a better overall and conference record since 2012.

21-24 with Bob Simmons in the four years before Miles. So Oklahoma St. went from just under .500 before Miles to just over .500 with Miles as coach.

With Simmons, OSU finished the 1997 season ranked #24 in the AP & Coaches poll.

In four years with Miles, OSU never finished a season ranked in the Top 25.

Some of you "fans" seem to be bigger fans of the athletic department than the University.

LSU is a university first, not a psuedo professional sports conglomerate. If people like you cared as much about how poorly our state's flagship school is funded as you do about the head coach of the school football team, then LSU would be ranked among the best public colleges in the country like UT, UCLA, and UVA.
