It does suck, but that doesn't excuse yesterday and nothing excuses us losing off of our bye and our mini bye.

Saints lost after their bye and their Thursday night game.... This is becoming one of those things were the Old Sean Payton stats are merging into the New Sean Payton stats and creeping towards becoming more and more mediocre. Payton and the Saints used to be unstoppable after their bye week. Road record used to be hotter, too. Dome record at home was once impregnable. They are now 10-10 in their last 20 games overall.

Everything is up in the air now, nothing is a sure thing or making me feel confident like the way I used to feel about this team. I don't even feel like the "Saints are hot in prime time" thing is a guaranteed lock anymore, we'll really have to see next week.
