While fishing on friday, my electronics went dead. No radio, no Lowrance, no nav lights, no bilge pump. Power coming into the radio is separate from the power coming into the rest of the electronics. I messed around with the Perko switch and it seemed to be functioning fine. The boat would start right up after turning it off. No fuses are blown.

Anyone ever had an issue where the Perko would supply power to the engine but not the rest of the accessories? I got a D in circuits back in college and I'm just as confused now.

Did you check the wires with a volt meter? That's your first step.

This, if you don't have power past the Perko switch then the switch is your issue.

I'll give it another look. Then again I may just take it in a month early for its yearly service.
