I've been wanting to get a new tablet in addition to our Ipad.

Is this a good deal?

What are you wanting out of a tablet? The interface takes some getting used to and there are missing apps, for instance not much browser choice if you want to use something like Chrome or Mozilla to sync your bookmarks. However, if you just want a basic functionality tablet to surf the web, watch NetFlix and play the more popular games, that's a good deal.

I will say that if you already have an iPad, you might consider one of the iPad minis. They're in the same general price range, would be familiar, and aren't that much smaller.

I'm wanting to try something different than the Apple brand. Not to mention I want a larger screen for Amazon Prime and Netflix.
