two times now i've bought in around 4 and sold around 6.5-7. it historically has a pretty steady floor at 4 and sells off between 6.5 and 8. i bought back in last week around 4 again, will see if i can go three for three.

Can you tell me a little about the company? Is the recent decline due to Oil prices?

PetroQuest Energy, Inc. is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, acquisition and production of oil and natural gas reserves in East Texas, Arkoma Basin, South Louisiana and the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico(located in Lafayette)
some if it has to do with oil prices but they're portfolio isnt huge. they missed earnings in q3 due to setbacks to a couple of their exploratory location. on the flipside they were still very very profitable year over year (700%). according to a write up in findingalpha, one of their wells (thunder bayou) is close to the desired depth of 21k and that may play a big role in how q4 turns out for them.

I've played em.... My brother married into a petroquest lease aka LA ponderosa..... Its been good at 3.50-4ish but I don't like the fact they they don't grow and weigh heavily on quarterly #s to see movement.
