By far the best video out there that explains the invisible hand/spontaneous order

To think that not a single one of the amazing transactions described in the video required coercion or government regulation, either...

Some of you have probably already seen it, but if you haven't, please watch and understand the significant concept that is being explained.

You will never look at a pencil the same way again.

I think the black nanny at 5:12 illustrates what's really going on in building this pencil.

Loggers are clear-cutting, china sweat shops are slave-mongering and the California kiln factory is pumping out millions of tons of greenhouse gases all to put some fat-cat executive into his luxury car to get to his luxury golf course home on roads that he didn't build.

My father in law (a conservative philosophy professor and probably the most well read and intelligent person Ive ever met) told me about the pencil in my early 20s.

I have never seen the world the same way since.

Glad to know about that youtube channel.
