don't know much about how the bowl games work. do y'all think there's a chance we would go to the music city bowl? can't believe i'm even typing that. seems strange that my tigers would be going to a bowl like that but .... i'll be there if so!..
just wondering if it's too early to speculate.

thanks.

Probably Memphis, Nashville, Shreveport, or Houston.

At this point, I don't care if we win or lose. I'm tired of worrying about LSU football.

United States Postal Service Bowl Sponsored by the Affordable Care Act at old RFK Stadium.

It's for teams that are not nearly as good as advertised with a moderately effective ground game.

It would be pretty neat to go to the belk bowl though just for the fact that's we get to play in all four nfc south stadiums in our last four bowl games.

Unfortunately, Shreveport and Birmingham are back in play. With 50 seconds left vs. Alabama, we were in the running to be no worse than the Citrus Bowl. Funny how fortunes can change so fast.

It looks like 11 teams will definitely be bowl eligible. Missouri, Georgia, Alabama, Miss. St., Ole Miss, Auburn, TA&M, and LSU are already there (that is 8). Florida only needs to beat E. Kentucky to get there. South Carolina needs to beat South Alabama or Clemson. Tennessee needs to beat Missouri or Vandy. All 3 of those teams seem like sure bets. That would make 11.

And that isn't even counting Arkansas, who could make 12 with a win over Ole Miss or Missouri.

And mathematically, Kentucky could make 13 if they beat Louisville.

I figure 3 teams to be in the top tier bowls...1 in the playoffs and 2 in the other bowls (Orange, Cotton, etc.)

Then the Citrus picks.
Then the Outback, Music City, Gator, Liberty, Texas, and Belk bowls are assigned teams by the SEC. That is 10 spots now taken up IF 3 teams make the top tier.

If 11 or 12 teams become bowl eligible, then Shreveport and Birmingham get SEC teams. Which ones?? Good question. I would hope we wouldn't slip that far and I don't think we will....but it isn't certain at this point.

I honestly think that if Arkansas manages to get one more win, Shreveport would be a match made in heaven for them. Their fans would eat that up.

Compass bowl
Birmingham against tuberville and the QB with no chest would be awesome.
