The PS4 Destiny thread is so active because y'all have jack shite else to play right now. There is a reason the Xbox One version of the thread is basically dead.
I don't know how in the world someone could still be playing that game. Have you not exhausted the 6 strikes and 1 raid enough? Or is it the great story pulling you back in? Or their amazing reward and loot system? The social features?

I had fun too, but it just got way too repetitive to me. Once I finally got all the raid gear I just lost like all motivation to keep playing.

Let me preface my comment to you with the fact that I LOVE Halo....but how can you really criticize something repetitive like Destiny when Halo MCC is the epitome of repetitive.

The multiplayer is the difference. Destiny has like 4 game types and they are all just basically some varied form of deathmatch. You also have forge & custom games.
Plus Halo actually has a story.

Because the gameplay is great and the PVP is great. And it is a great game to play with friends. I could see if you didn't have anybody to play with it would suck.
The story sucks, there should be more content. We all know that but the game is still fun.
What are you talking about? The ps4 has a lot of games to play... What exactly does the xbox have that it doesn't, Sunset overdrive? Looks like a wacky infamous, which doesn't interest me either.

Yes I understand that it has all that stuff, but you have to see where re-releasing the same game is the epitome of repetitive. Again...I am OK with this.

- destiny isn't repetitive, it's anemic. there is nothing there. 3 pvp game modes, a raid, and a shitty nonexistent story doesn't make a fun experience for me.
