This is the one criticism I don't understand about Miles. Nobody ever says that Miles develops great defensive backs or running backs. Miles isn't the QB coach and I doubt has anything to do with developing them

Now not being able to recruit a good QB is an actual criticism of Miles but let's not get mad at him for not developing QBs when Cameron is the qb coach

Russell, and Flynn were Saban guys. And Mett was a Juco Transfer that was originally with Georgia that played in the Juco NCG. Mett was a 5th years SR that had only 1 online class last year. He spent a shite load of time with Cam Cameron and in the film room. Plus he was a natural pro set QB. So Mett doesnt count.

Flynn over ANY quarterback Bama has had in the last 10-15years.bama quarterbacks could have their own "where are they now" show. Mett starting already on Sundays. Eli is a waste. Tebow doing TV.... But our quarterbacks aren't good?

Saban left after the 2004 season. Flynn did not play until 2007. How exactly did Saban develop him? Was he flying back from Miami to work with him?

Mett doesn't count because he spent a great deal of time being coached by the LSU quarterbacks coach? When you read this again do you see how ignorant it is?

this

It is the head coach's job to oversee the development of every single player on the flipping field, and oversee all the coaching he is receiving. When you have Miles' track record with QBs, how can you sit back and say, "how is this his responsibility"? When you go back and look at year after year's glaring problems on offense, what do you see first? Unless you are blind or have no ability to remember things from year-to-year, it is QB play. At this point, after this horse has been beaten to death, Miles should be on it micro-managing it with laser focus and should be holding all offensive coaches accountable. Especially if he isn't the QB guru, he should make sure he has one taking care of things.

"Miles can't develop a quaterback"

Who has "developed" a qb or any other position for that matter , the dumbest statement I've ever heard. You learn or you don't . Think spurrier could "develop" a qb , he hasn't at sc . Ya can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite. You either have some talent and "you" develop it or you don't and you suck.

One issue for me is. Mett came in and spent his first year behind JJ/JL. People had the same excuses we are seeing now for harris..m playbook knowledge, development yada yada. But he gets into the NFL and starts as a rookie??

How did he have such a hard time here but can start at the next level immediately?
