The Bears looks like shite and can't score. Jay cutler has an arsenal of weapons. There is no excuse for this shite.

When did the Vikings all the sudden become a game below .500?

shite, this Bears team (more specifically this game) looks a hell of a lot better than the last month or so. That's saying a lot given how bad they were against the Packers & Patriots.

Always thought Trestman sucked...when he was back with the Niners years ago.

NFL - despite being so successful - always felt like a retread league...no one is ever without a job. It's cutthroat for the players but seems like lifelong job security for coaches - they always get second and third and fourth chances.

That's one thing about the NFL that has always bothered me -- it's such a conservative league and resistant to change, at least in terms of schematic philosophy. That's led to guys getting second and third chances at head coaching jobs and numerous stints as coordinators in the league at multiple stops.

Inversely, in college, once you fail as a head coach you're usually done at that level with a few exceptions (Rich Rod comes to mind). Will Muschamp won't be a head coach at bigtime school ever again, but the NFL equivalent of Muschamp would get another NFL head coaching job in a second. Eric Mangini got fired by the Jets and landed the Browns job a week later. Romeo Crennel failed miserably with the Browns and got the full time Chiefs HC job a few years later. Norv Turner has had a million chances.

Trestman was obviously a reach, but Lovie wasn't getting it done anymore.

10-6 in Lovie ' s last year was a lot better than 3-6 this year. The bears went from a defensive team with no offense to an offensive team with no defense. I've never seen anything like it. They let Cutler pretty much cherry pick this coaching staff. A lot of the blame lays on his shoulders.

You have Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffrey, Brandon Marshall and you call a QB sweep with Jay Cutler on 4th down.

It's a totally different team really, all the good defensive players Lovie had are gone or just not that good any more. Lovie's defense in Tampa is pretty bad too.

You don't say!

Agreed, you're stating something that's obvious to anyone that has seen a second of this team over the last 3-5 years.

. The entire coaching staff, even the S & C coach? Wow? Link? Besides, what QB doesn't have at least some input on offensive coaching decisions?

Yes, some of the blame does belong on his shoulders, but not so much for any coaching input he might have had. He definitely deserves blame for the poor performances he's put up.

And there's a pick!
