C Patt just hit the ww, and I am wondering under what scenario does he become fantasy relevant? I noticed the first game of the season was his best game. Was that because teams were to worried about AP that they let him do his thing? Also, with the addition of AP, does his value rise a bit?

I am debating if he is worth being another experiment on my bench.

Didn't he have like an 85 yd TD run on a reverse? Take that away and it's like every other week

No clue. But thanks for pointing that out, because the weekly stat line doesnt really point out that kinda detail. On the WW he shall stay

I'd say only add him if you're desperate at WR. He's a crapshoot and a real disappointment to fantasy owners who drafted him so high. It really depends on how big your league is, what your roster looks like, and who else is available on waiver/free agency. In general, I don't really think he's worth owning unless you're in a 14-team league or above.

Thanks. Its a 14team .5PPR and my starters are Dez and DT88. I was curious if that first game production had anything to do with AP also playing. My flex WR is a coin flip between Sanu/M.Bryant. So, not really hurting at the moment... but I always try to stay a step ahead.

Patterson was putting up 20 ppg PPR in weeks 13-17 of 2013 and week 1 this year. Matt Cassel was the qb in all of those games. Peterson played in most of them as well (injured at the end of 2013). I think Patterson needs Cassel to excel.

Was it Cassel or AP that played a bigger roll in his production?

Peterson because defenses had to scheme for him. However, there seems to be a disconnect between Bridgewater and Patterson. I am sure Patterson would do better with a better qb, but it seemed like Cassel and Patterson had a decent connection.

I made some moves last week that made me thin at wr until Gordon gets back next week. I picked him up as a high upside wr3 play for this week. I'm not expecting much out of him though and won't be very surprised if he only gets me 2 or 3 points.

He's worthless. I picked him in the 5th this year thinking he'd break out, but he didn't so I dropped him. Of course the guy Im playing picked him up this week so he's good for like 100yds & 2 tds probably.
