@JaysonBraddock: UPDATE: Arian Foster is OUT for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Any Houston fans know how legit this guy is?

Didn't O'Brien say yesterday he was a game time decision? My guess is this is speculation on Jayson Braddock's part

Didn't practice Wed or Thurs. I'll be monitoring the situation. Have Blue ready to plug in.

I'm hopeful he's out...I'm going against Foster, I have the Browns d and Blue

Don't think Blue will ever play for me, just picked him up last week so my opponent couldn't this week

How? I picked Blue up on waivers, he wasn't just a FA, I'm sure he had a claim in for him

So all Foster owners who don't have Blue are idiots? I have Foster, McCoy, McKinnon, Vereen, Hillman and AP. Who would you cut to have a backup RB for one week?

From that list, Hillman or AP gotta go.

Yes. Dude is out 2-3 weeks. Ball is back in the rotation. And Anderson looked good.

How confident are you that Hillman is going to return in 2-3 weeks and take the starting job back?

I picked up Blue yesterday when I heard Foster was 50-50. My other options at RB are West & JStew, so I need all the help I can get!

Rotoworld as well

Jayson Braddock of 790 Houston reports Arian Foster (groin) will not play Week 11 against the Browns. We don't typically use Braddock as a source, but he's had some good Texans nuggets in the past, so it's worth a mention. The Texans have been pretty quiet on Foster's status all week, with coach Bill O'Brien chalking him up as a full-blown game-time decision. Foster, himself, wouldn't commit to playing, simply saying, "We shall see." Foster owners should own Alfred Blue already. If not, you need to be making other plans. Cleveland was already a top-end D/ST streamer, but would become infinitely more attractive if Foster ends up sitting.

O'Brien says Arian Foster practiced a little bit today. Says that'll be a gameday decision. #Texans

If he was already ruled out, why would O'Brien let him practice? Wouldn't he let him rest?

ESPN's Adam Schefter stated on SportsCenter Friday that Arian Foster (groin, questionable) is unlikely to play in Week 11 against the Browns.
Technically, coach Bill O'Brien is calling Foster a game-day decision after he practiced "a little bit" on Friday. Multiple reports surfaced Friday that Foster will be out against Cleveland, giving Alfred Blue the start. "Right now it does not look promising," Schefter said of Foster's potential availability. "Signs not encouraging." Schefter expects a "heavy dose" of Alfred Blue against the Browns. Although Foster has had a great season when healthy, he has shown up on the weekly injury reports with four separate ailments. Blue will be an RB2 if he gets the nod at Cleveland. The Browns' defense is a recommended fantasy streamer against Houston's Ryan Mallett-led offense. Nov 14 - 2:19 PM

Alfred Blue isn't Kniles Davis. If you have some other good running backs then you don't need to own Blue.
