Men's Golf Signing Class

Did yall see that the men's golf team signed 3 top 20 recruits including the #1 recruit in the nation, basically giving them the #1 recruiting class?
Pretty impressive. That's a national championship kind of haul.

Sam Burns is some kind of a special player. Easily the most decorated jr golfer in LA history.

I heard a cool story about how Les has been helping the tennis team recruit. Les was approached by the coaches and asked if he minded helping out. Les was more than happy to do it. Apparently he helped close the deal with a top recruit snd his folks with signature Miles charm and goofyness.
I know CSB. Wonder if Miles helped out here as well.

If this golf team can work hard, get stronger in the weight room, develop some continuity on the field and keep their hands in front of the bodies throughout the swing they'll be tough to beat in 3-4 years.

I would not be surprised if gymnastics and mens golf win national titles.

To add to Priessman, Fournette, Simmons, and Burns, LSU softball added the 2013 Gatorade National PLayer of the year to their roster and signed a first team All-American pitcher too
Sarah Finnegan also just signed with LSU gymnastics. She was a reserve on the US olympic team in 2012. So LSU has signed three gymnasts on Olympic rosters and 2 other girls that are daughters of former Olympians.
Women's track also signed the best short sprinter in the country in Briscoe.
It is safe to say that LSU athletics cleaned up nicely in recruiting. There are very exciting times ahead in LSU Athletics

Nate Jeansonne is also one of the top golfers in America. He's won 2 AJGA events (think PGA event for Jr Golfers) and is really a great player too. Also, Philip Barbaree, the #1 Soph golfer in America (won 5A State as a Fresh) is already committed to LSU as is Carter Toms, David's son. Future is bright.
