Every damn holiday season, like clockwork, there is some bullshite cheesy commercial by this company that ends with the putrid slogan: "Every kiss begins with Kay."

I get that it's a catchy slogan, but in my mind it instills the belief that the only way you'll get a woman to love you or put out is to buy her jewelry. And not just jewelry, a goddamn diamond.

Am I only the male that gets aggravated by this particular company?

I am well-aware of the schemes that advertisers employ, but these commercials in particular have always stood out to me.

They're not talking about advertisers, they're talking about women.

I'm pretty sure my wife would divorce me if I bought her something from Kay Jewelers

That's like asking if they're trying to make them air-breathers or water-drinkers. Some things don't require outside intervention.

j/k.

I don't think they carry anything worthy of gold digger status...

He means white trash gold diggers.

Is that an oxy moron?

My husband is lucky he never has to worry about this. I hate jewelry. Never/rarely wear anything but my engagement ring and wedding band.

I've always thought buying jewelry was silly. It's just a rock or metal meant to show that you are wealthy, nothing else really to it. But that is the world humans have created.

Fricking Buick:

"Maybe he got a raise."

"Good for him."

"Good for her."

What the F happened to being equal in the workplace & all?

You do realize she's saying "good for her" because she thinks the husband is hot, right?
