I'm assuming this is lollipop, but no WiFi, so I can't download

REALLY doubt that ATT LG3 is getting lollipop before most Nexus devices.

Rolling out now to Motorola X so it's entirely possible. Nexus devices have historically been 1st but this has apparently changed with the release of Lollipop.
I've been getting a steady stream of 5.0 ready app updates today on my Moto Droid Turbo prepping for it as well, shouldn't be long before it's out universally.

Google owns Motorola, so that's probably why.
As far as the software update referred to in the OP, it's just minor bug fixes and stuff. Android L is expected by the end of the year sometime.

Not any more, the sale to Lenovo is complete. Motorola added, "A Lenovo Company" (replacing Google) to their logo a couple of weeks ago.

Has anybody been happy with any ATT droid updates? I have gone thru updates at 2 different times on different phones and the ATT updates turned them both into Newts......and they never got better.
