Is Justified any good?

Just finished the first 7 episodes and on the fence. Should I continue or find a better show to watch?
On a side note, the main character is a badass, but does not have likeability factors. That and he gets used by Ava and his Ex-wife.

The season 1 finale is bad to the bone. The 2nd season of Justified is one of the best single seasons in tv history (in my opinion at least).
