I have your everyday run of the mill Dell laptop Latitude running Windows XP.

How can I, or can I run a Bluetooth wireless speaker, say a Bose or name any of them, off the computer?

TIA

Does your laptop have bluetooth? If so, you should be able to do it.

But if it's running Windows XP it sounds like a museum piece that likely doesn't have Bluetooth.

If it doesn't have Bluetooth...any way to get it? Buy the software?

bluetooth is hardware device that needs to be installed on a computer, it also uses software, but the software will do nothing without the device

You would need to buy a Bluetooth USB adapter that plugs into one of your laptop's USB ports.
