Pathetic.
I almost feel sorry for her.

The train has left the station and she doesn't even know when it arrived.

The way Cassidy voters are acting like it's already over and the way Mary is grasping, I'm betting Election Day will be closer than we expect.

Are you fricking kidding me???? Never feel sorry for that money grubbing bitch!!! She has sold the people of this state down the river for 30 pieces of silver.....sold her soul to the devil(Obama)....and padded her pocket book during her years of "public service"!!!!
Feel sorry for her???....if anything....she should be arrested the next time she crosses the border into Louisiana.

Let's see ....
The House passed the legislation in May 2013.
And, it only took the all-powerful Chair of the Senate Energy committee a YEAR AND A HALF to demand a Senate vote.
Yeah, dat Mary, she has so much clout and she be so f*cking powerful. How did Louisiana ever survive without her being Chairperson of the Senate Energy Committee.
A YEAR-AND-A-HALF LATE, AND A FEW HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS SHORT.

The zombie and taker voters will be out there, but there are people chomping at the bit to usher that cow out of office and they will be voting.

Cool your jets, I said "almost" and then added the sarcastic crying emoticon just for a little CYA.

I hear she even referenced her tough re-election campaign as one of the reasons needed to bring this to vote.
Is that true? If so, she's absolutely pathetic.

With the Senate no longer in play, I imagine there will be many voters who stay home. From both sides.
Turnout will be dismal so I too think it will be closer than expected.

A year. She was pushing hard for Obama to get behind a vote back in April, along with 10 other Senate Dems. I want her to lose big, of course, but prefer to stick to the facts.

And, I suppose those 10 Senate Dems were up for re-election?

I was a little worried about that too.
But, from conversing with different people who live in different areas, I didn't realize the strength of the ANTI-MARY sentiment that's going around the state.
The thing that still scares me is what we've seen in all of Mary's elections -- including the primary. I was following several news outlets on TV and online and towards the end of the night, Cassidy was leading 45-39, with only certain parts of New Orleans unaccounted for. Then, all of a sudden Mary made a remarkable comeback.
Orleans is NOTORIOUS for turning its results in after everyone else has. And, miraculously Orleans Parish comes up with just the right amount of votes (with record turnouts, of course) to put Mary over the top.
While I'm still a little worried about the Orleans Parish multiple and dead vote, it just seems like there's an ANTI-MARY wave that can't be stopped.

I wonder if the Dems have lost all of their "swing" seats, and so Obama has no problem with doubling down. Not that he cared about them to begin with, but prior to last week he could hide behind the House and Reid.
I think he's such an ideologue he doesn't care, and he thinks he can put enough stuff in place that will never be repealed or replaced, that it's worth losing those seats.
Thoughts?
