Domestic Work --- Jam Bands
Hunting/Fishing --- Country
Drinking --- pretty much anything
Dancing --- pretty much anything
Running --- Jam Bands
Gameday --- Older country till I get drunk, then rap
Beach --- Zydeco and Jam Bands
Working --- Jam Bands

Car radio usually stays on 98.1 unless I'm going on a trip, or driving more than just to a store.

Domestic Work: "Happy" housecleaning music. Noah and the Whale, Vampire Weekend, Head and the Heart, etc..

Working out: Metal or Hip hop

Driving alone: usually something "challenging" that requires a prolonged period of listening (Swans, drone albums, jam band shows, ambient albums, etc...)

Driving with others: alt.country, indie folk,

Studying/Working in my head: post-rock or doom metal

Going fishing/hunting/camping: alt.country and non-nashville country

My west Texas experience:

Guadalupe Mountains... wife and I camped there when we were just dating. Freaking crazy. Went from 90 degrees to a blizzard in a 12 hour period.

Wife had the freaking flu, the heater was broke in my 4runner so she wrapped up in a mummy bag the whole way out there, and there's no water in the back country of Guadalupe peak, which is great when you're sick and trying to stay hydrated.

After she survived that trip, I decided I could marry her.

That's awesome man... Same thing happend to me and Burt in Philmont '02... Hiking from Fish Camp to Crater Lake. Went from 80 to 35 and a massive hailstorm in about 5 hours. Lightning striking everywhere.

Domestic Work --- sometimes will turn on cajun 2 step while cooking gumbo, court bullion, etc. Wife does all the other inside domestic work. Outside, I don't listen to music much while doing yard work. But I only mow my yard 3 times a year.
Hunting/Fishing --- don't hunt or fish
Drinking --- pretty much anything
Dancing --- don't dance much
Running --- only the week minded need entertainment when they workout
Gameday --- whatever
Beach --- haven't been to the beach in forever
Working --- stuff I normally listen to....although more on the low key side.
