weird that there's 3 teams from that conference ranked and neither Texas or Oklahoma are at least one of the three

I think the important thing is the Big 12 is only at 3. TCU and Baylor have gotten up into the rankings based on the strength of the Big 12, but aside from the 2 of them, no one is strong

OU and WVU are similar to Wisky/Nebraska to me

If you had games:

OSU/TCU
MSU/Baylor

Or OSU/Baylor
MSU/TCU

who are you taking? I don't think those results are cut and dry in any way and after that, the conferences are pretty similar

OSU has only played MSU and has Minnesota this week.
Wisconsin plays Nebraska and Minnesota still. (OSU and MSU not on schedule)
Nebraska has to play Minnesota as well. (Previously lost to MSU, OSU not on schedule)

Minnesota will have 2-3 more losses and Wisconsin or Nebraska another. The Big 10 be lucky to have three teams ranked by the end of the season.

Minny/Nebraska/Wisky play each other i believe in the next 3 weeks. I would be surprised if Nebraska and Wisky are unranked after the round robin, and Wisky is out.

OSU plays @ Minny Saturday in what should be a fun affair in the 5 degree snow weather. Wisky and Nebraska play at 3:30 et this weekend

I think 4 is pretty set. Nebraska I don't think losses twice more (if they lose i think it is only to Wisky this weekend or in the B1G title game). Wisky if they win this weekend will be higher if/when they lose in the B1G title game. If Wisky losses this weekend (most think they win), then you would likely be correct.

OSU and MSU will likely remain ranked the rest of the year.

That's my point. The big ten has yet to cannibalize itself like other conferences have.

Agreed, but I still wonder why the Big 12 is getting such a pass. They didn't start cannibalizing themselves til 2 weeks or so ago, when they already had 6 teams ranked. Then when they beat these "ranked" teams it is a good win even when those teams are no longer ranked.

I know it's hard to really know who is top 25 and you have to do rankings every week, but this season has told us that if you put WVU and Maryland on a neutral field the game is close (WVU won @ home by 3). WVU played both TCU and Baylor close at home (beat Baylor and lost on last second FG to TCU), while OSU absolutely crushed Maryland at Maryland.

I didn't watch the unveiling last night, but was stuff like this brought up?

I think OSU is the only good team is a sea of mediocrity
