A perceived strength of my team is now a crushing weakness

I thought my RB/WR group were going to carry my team in this non PPR standard ESPN league.

LeSean McCoy
LeVeon Bell
Ben Tate/Lamar Miller/ Darren Sproles
Brandon Marshall
Julian Edelman
Michael Floyd
Michael Crabtree

Ended up trading Miller and Sproles for Matt Ryan

Looking at that group week 1/2 I thought I was stacked. Now it's clear this group is totally awful and I suck

Well my other QB was Cam Newton, I thought my RBs were a strength, plus Lamar Miller had Knowshawn coming back soon and I was never going to start Sproles unless McCoy was hurt. Not to mention Matt Ryan was a beast at that point.
I actually posted about the trade on here and pretty much everyone agreed it was a decent move.
Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose

lol

Of the three responses, 2 said it was a bad idea, 1 said it was a good idea.

Very first response...

This sounds like an all-around terrible idea.

Whatever, I needed to make a move at the time. Miller and Sproles haven't been anything special, no way to predict McCoy and Marshall would be THIS bad. Also Matt Ryan looked like he was about to have a big season. I don't really regret making that trade TBH

BS. I regret drafting Matt Ryan, so you must regret trading away two good players for him.

What I mean is, I don't regret making the move at the time, I needed a QB and he was the best one available at the time. Seemed like I was pretty solid at RB so I wasn't going to miss 2 guys who wouldn't play that much for me.

Clearly it turned out Ryan didn't pan out, and my RBs/WRs have been so bad I could use all the depth I can. But at the time I think I made the right call, again hindsight is 20/20

Are you still teetering on the edge of playoffs? You could probably trade away McCoy for some solid pieces based on name alone. Marshall too. Might as well go all in with the trading.

In my opinion...

Top "Cheap" WRs to go after:
Jordan Matthews
Mike Evans
Odell Beckham Jr

Top cheap QBs to go after:
Mark Sanchez
Josh McCown

Top cheap TE to go after:
Mychael Rivera
Kyle Rudolph

Top cheap RB to go after:
Tre Mason
Joique Bell
Giovanni Bernard
Any of the 3 CLE RBs
