Anyone else ever encounter this:
Guy in our league goes out of town on vacay and has no internet access. Leaves TY Hilton rostered during bye. Comes back late sunday, and drops Houston (on his bench) and grabs Jordan Matthews. Yahoo wont let him insert Matthews in his WR spot.

If he is switching him out for ty it should work.

Yes. Switching out for a player on a bye. And dropped a defense that wasnt rostered. He played San Fran in DEFST.
The only thing I could think of is that Yahoo made the switch to week 11 for guys on the bye? Idk. hes pretty pissed.

Yeah that should work, Indy has a bye so there is no gametime deadline for taking Hilton out. I would contact commissioner of the league to get it sorted out.

Check the league settings. Some leagues will set it so that your starting roster is locked at the start of Sunday games. I would think that would also prevent him from dropping Houston though, so I'm not sure. But that's the only explanation I can think of.

thanks for the replies. Just got off the phone with commish and other guy (I was former commish). We went over all the settings and its set up to add/drop/roster whomever as long as there is a vacant spot on the roster and youre not dropping someone you already played. No clue. Current commish had to go retroactively add/drop J. Matthews for Houston AFTER week 9. I dont think it will affect last weeks point totals as he played San Fran. Very weird... never had this problem. Ill probably submit something to yahoo.
