Winning 10-12 regular season games is "championship" level IMO, most years that gives you a good shot to get to Atlanta and possible playoff birth.

Everyone knew going in that this season was going to be a tough one. As soon as we flash some potential, expectations go through the roof and fans melt down. I see us at 9-3 just as many people predicted pre-season. Regardless of expectations, Saturday night stung. I get it. At the same time it was great to see such a young group of guys compete on a big stage.

Next season I will be right there with everyone that 2 regular season losses is an absolute floor and we should be in the SECCG. This year its just a good sign of things to come IMO.

we need to get much better QB play. It's just very hard to beat elite teams w/o a good QB.

If we don't get that next year, we'll go 9-3 or 8-4 next year.

Yeah, me too. Obviously, I want to win out, but I've closed the door on anything superb happening this year.

I think the team will be loaded with talent in 2016, but we must figure out a solution at quarterback.

I agree with you, I never expected us to win the SEC this year with everyone we lost offensively. Next year was always supposed to be THE year, and I'll have higher expectations for that team.

Best of luck with that as LSU will lose most all of it's offensive line to being Seniors or loss to NFL draft. Will have to start from scratch again on the O-line and that's not good for LSU's QB situation.

I expect us to be favored in every game next year except Alabama. If there is a god in this world I hope that he would allow us the pleasure of losing to them and then still getting into the playoff where we destroy them

I'm with you. This lost stings but the future is bright if we can establish some better QB play. 9-3 and a bowl win would be huge moving forward.

sorry barry. but I don't think there's a chance in hell we win any sort of championship in the next few years until we sort out the quarterback situation. it's abysmal and embarrassing.

Next year may be worse than this season with many departures from O line and defensive ends

I personally think Jennings is Miles sacrificial lamb. He's protecting Harris. I may be wrong.

Protecting him from what? A year of experience that could be valuable?

This is ridiculous. There will NEVER be two teams from the same division in a 4 team playoff.

Don't worry though, God will "let" us lose our fifth in a row. Alabama will be breaking in their new QB who will be a sr I believe. Maybe Saban will tell us how good we are and how tough we played next yr too.

We can't keep our good players around for title runs, and we will have another Miles QB situation next yr too. But 2016, that's the year

Pocic will be only O line starter back, new O line and shitty QB play says 8-4

Contrary to some of the stuff you read on here. Not all players are the same. Throwing a true freshman under center the SEC west is not always the best thing to do. Players can become shell shocked and regress if they have too much thrown at them too soon. Also some fans would rather tank this season and get Harris playing time. Les on the other hand still has to answer to people and win games. He doesn't have the luxury of letting Harris learn out on the field.

I'll say its legitimate criticism of the coaching staff to not adjust their offense to Harris and "dumb" things down and let him play that way.

I agree with you IF this coaching staff learns how to coach up a quarterback. Until that happens you will not be a championship caliber team anytime soon. The talent is here, they just need to use it and develop it.

People keep saying this. Mettenburger became A LOT better form year 1 to year 2.
