I never heard that he did. I always thought it was interesting his name never got brought up as a former athlete suffering from this especially because he lived in Louisiana (I think).

He had 9 picks his rookie season. Still don't know how he didn't make the pro bowl that year. Met him once and he couldn't have been any nicer. R.I.P.

I'm not a doctor and won't try to play one on the internet….and maybe this has been answered…but is this disease one of the things that can be attributed to too many concussions/blows to the head while playing football?
