Do you guys skip the Acknowledgements/Forwards in books or dive straight in?

I'm beginning to read the 25th Anniversary Edition of the 7-Habits of Highly Effective People. Kinda don't want to read the Acknowledgements/Forwards.

Are there ever worth reading in any book?

Will you actually finish reading the book?

One of the habits is not reading the forwards and acknowledgements of books.

Because of context clues and my natural intelligence, yes.

Does the Bible have an Acknowledgements/forward?

I usually do, but I skip the acknowledgements if I don't really care about the author/background. The foreword usually has useful information.
