Very little. I grew up just over the border from there. Hit Garrison Avenue. Eat at? I don't even know anymore. If you don't mind driving a bit and you like catfish, go to the barn, just west of pocola.

Well, now that you mean Arkansas, that's a whole new place.

There's a few university-type things, but not as much other stuff as in North Carolina.

I think she would prefer the Carolinas. I'd take her there if I were you.

We don't mind driving a bit to maybe do some outdoors stuff (weather permitting).

Drive up an hour to Fayetteville and stay there.

Leaving Ft. Smith was usually my favorite part of the trip.

There's the Lodge at Mt. Magazine, it's a resort type of lodge in the state park at the highest point in Arkansas.

You won't find any entertainment to speak of, there's some shitty Indian casinos not far from the state line, and restaurants aren't much to get excited about especially since my favorite one had a massive fire this summer and I'm not sure if they've been able to rebuild.

Papas is a good pizza place on garrison. I hear good things about the brickhouse brewery. If you like True Grit go check out judge Parker's gallows at the national historic site.

It's not as bad as this thread will make it out to be.
