In 2012 and last night we did not protect the sidelines when we should have. Once again L M is a very good man and a very good recruiter he is a good coach not great.
His inability to adjust is obvious, his inability to change players is costly, see J J in the NC game.

But.....if we get a QB we will be dangerous the next two years.

I thought this board had pretty much agreed chief called the D? Oh yeah, that's right, he's only responsible when things don't go our way.

wait, make up your mind.

Bama had right at 180 yards of total offense in the first half, and LSU held them to 32 total yards in the second half with 50 seconds to go.

LSU had only around 80 yards of offense in the first half, and ended up with about 180 in the second half.

But yeah, no adjustments...lol

But those adjustments weren't his. This lack of adjustment the OP refrences was obviously because Les refused to adjust to protecting the sideline.

I mean duh... everyone here knows the refs made bad calls all night, receivers (and the FB ) dropped balls all night, and Bama's trick play almost scored all because Les is an idiot and stubborn. /sarcasm

If the head coach does not have input regarding the style of defense that is played during a drive like that, he should not be the head coach.

When you have held a team to less than 40 yards in the second half, why would you completely change the defensive scheme during the last 50 seconds when up only 3 points?

The D-coordinator should know better, but the had coach has the final say over all of it.
