After being left for dead after the Auburn humiliation, the defense and the running game literally turned it around mid season. This Bama game was projected as a 3 or 4 TD loss in September when we couldn't stop the run, the pass or consistently run the ball.

All things considered, I'm very proud of the kids for stepping up and owning the outcome on the field. This team will be elite eventually. I'm willing to put money on it.

I would have taken 7 wins in September. I'm sorry we're not Bama. Everyone else pretty much has to go through these shitty growing pains.

the defense

I was like, "oh shite" when Beckwith went out. He goes to the locker room and Bama picks up 3rd and 18.

Yeah the players will eventually mature to the point where when we call what we always call, their physical development will allow them to out-talent teams who are outscheming and outcoaching us.

I also am really looking forward to putting points up against Arkansas and TAMU so we can pad our stats on offense to end the year and take some heat off the abortion of an offense we have.

Lastly, I'm looking to win out and get to 10 wins so Miles supporters can use it to validate how badly they bungled the QB development and the ability for this team to compete for a division and conference championship.

For me, after the Auburn loss, it was about getting these young kids reps and focusing on the future. While the Bama loss cuts deep, it needs to be channeled into a huge motivating factor for next year.

We beat an Ole Miss team many were saying we would score on AT ALL and came a few plays from beating a Bama team many said would run us out of our own building. These kids fought their asses off last night instead of rolling over and calling it a year (like a lot of our fans)

Very proud of this young LSU team and coaching staff who got them turned around and playing some of the best football of any team in the country.

Perspective is important. This was not a very good team in September and now we're commiserating not beating Bama after outplaying them.
