I'm rooting for Verne to have a stroke as the game's ending with an LSU victory. Not one that will kill him but one that will affect his speech and force him to retire.

It's because any positive comment about any team but LSU means that "so and so LOVES the other team and HATES LSU" The rational person realizes that the guys that call the games are just doing a job. They couldn't give two shits about LSU, Bama, UF, etc. etc. They're just trying to provide and entertaining broadcast. It truly is amazing how many people/media outlets HATE LSU. Grow up people
