FWIW, Narcisse is more in the 6'1"-6'2" range, but he has filled out quite a bit over the past year and has really added some bulk in the weight room. Smart kid w/ a good head on his shoulders. Older brother played LB at McNeese and first cousin played RB at Clemson and with the Seahawks so they are serving as his mentors through the entire recruiting process. Lowell's nickname is "Junior."

I saw him play against Lutcher I think. He looked very good in the 2nd half of that game. And Lutcher had way more talent than St James. But St James has some other young players that could end up being pretty good.

You didn't see him play vs. Lutcher unless it was his 8th grade year, because SJH doesn't play Lutcher anymore. You might be thinking of West St. John or E.D. White

Must have been WSJ. It was the Fox sports game.

ETA: I'm fortunate that they do LA HS games on Fox Sports now and not just Cox because I can watch them here in Missouri.

If he's the second leading passer and has a 1000 rush yards from the QB spot as a sophomore, he's a definite take as a QB. If we don't get him, Auburn, Tennessee, Oregon, and Ohio State will be ready to take him.

He has plenty of time to develop, plus we'll have at least one top of the mark QB ahead of him on roster so he can develop.

He won't play QB in the SEC unless it's at Auburn. He is a WR anywhere else. He isn't bad at QB, but he can make a lot more money at WR.

From what I've seen, I agree that it would be tough for him to play QB in the SEC. I don't think his skill set compliments what LSU asks of their qbs, but again, he is young and his high school system is certainly different than LSU's. He is a talented athlete. It's very common to see great athletes play QB in high school, especially in Louisiana.

I'll trust that the coaches know what they expect of him and that he understands the role LSU has planned for him in the future, whatever it may be. It's always great news to hear big time Louisiana football players earning an offer from LSU.

I'm pretty certain that he wants to stay at QB. I'm not sure if a position change would prevent him from going to LSU... I guess it will depend on what other schools tell him. He's already visited Clemson and they are pursuing him as a QB prospect from what I've been told.

Will do, although it doesn't look like it will be this season, the way the pairings line up. Their matchups will likely be Loreauville in Round 2 and Many in Round 3.

He told me LSU is recruiting him as a QB. After the offer, Cam Cameron stated that he feels he's the best QB in his class.

Like I said, he has good arm talent and is an amazing athlete. I haven't seen much from him that screams D1 qb just because the offense is a bit messy, but I'm sure they have seen him at camps and such and have a better read of what his skills project.

So we offer another Dual Threat Quarterback only to make him go under center and hand the ball off to the running backs. What is the purpose of recruiting DTQB's if we don't use them in a dual threat fashion??
