I kept him on my bench since all this crap started and last week I decided that nothing was going to happen this season and it was best to stop wasting a roster spot for him. Now I hear he might play week 11.

Unless your playoffs go into Week 17, I don't think you're missing out. Seems like the NFL isn't counting his paid 8 weeks vacation as punishment, and will tack on the 6 game suspension starting this Sunday.

thanks for this info... I'm 2-7 and the team that picked him up is 3-6.

Everything is speculation at this point, but it sort of makes sense to me. LINK / In addition, Nike just dropped their sponsorship of AP. The hits are still rolling in.
Edit: if you got him off the WW, I say he's a good hold until everything is cleared up, but if you missed out I wouldn't be too bummed about it either.

Don't.
Have you even looked at his schedule? His fantasy playoffs assuming you end in week 16, is Detroit, New York (Jets) and Miami. Three of the top five rushing defenses in the league behind an injured offensive line and rookie QB.

The dude ran for 2k at 6 ypc with Christian ponder at QB
And Miami is 14th best vs fantasy RBs
Detroit 11th
Jets 8th
RBs are scoring on them

Lol. The schedule does not matter if it comes to Peterson. The only thing that matters is if he gets activated.

Yeah, schedule ain't no thang for Peterson. Dude will get his yards. As someone else said, he ran for 2,000 with Christian Ponder behind center.
I had a chance to pick him up off the waiver wire, but I'm fighting for my playoff life and just need guys that can produce right now.
