Can't copy pictures on iPhone 6

This is very annoying and I'm wondering if it's just a bug or if there's a setting I have set wrong. On the iPhone 5 I could click and hold an image online and the option came up to save or copy. When you copied you could come to a place like TD and paste and the image URL would populate the text field. I still get the save or copy option, but when I click and hold to paste nothing happens, the magnifying glass just flashes momentarily and "paste" never comes up. Any ideas here?

I don't have any problems with it. I don't even know if there is a setting that would disable such a thing.
I'm no tech-wiz, but you may just want to restart your phone and see if that somehow fixes the problem?

I'd restart. That is not normal.

Still happening after more than a month with the phone, multiple restarts

I would say at this point you should just reset the phone to your factory settings and see what that does. This is assuming you have everything backed up on your computer/laptop.
Otherwise, just take it into your provider or one of those tech stores.
