I've been preparing for it since February. Any pointers or tips for those you've taken it recently?

My buddy just took it and passed a fee months ago. Said it really tries to trick you on the answers. He also said to mind the time. It will sneak up on you.

Just wondering how close it resembles the practice questions one usually use from online when preparing for the exam. I know I'm tired of looking and studying for this shite.

PMP? Is this a Pimp exam? Is it like a PMS exam?

I did that, but the only thing the bootcamp did was give me my contact hours. With so much information to go through, I don't see how people will pass this test with only going to the bootcamp class.

I'm a PMP. In the PMBOK really learn that matrix that has the knowledge areas and process groups inside and out. If you are taking sample tests you need to be scoring in the high 80s to pass the real test. Also you need a deep understanding of earned value.

Based on your experience, are the practice tests a good representation of the what to expect on the exam?

I need to take the CAPM soon. My PM prof at lsu said he would give anyone that passed it before the end of the semester an automatic A regardless of other course work. I should have done it then.

Just be sure to keep a strong PMP hand, and you'll be ok.

I don't know what the criteria is to sit for CAPM exam, but there is some sort of criteria I'm sure. You can go to PMI's website and check to see if you qualify.

They represent the breadth of the content ok but the real test questions are more difficult or in depth.
