Meh. Okay I guess for 21st Century psychedelic, but back in the day these guys would've faded from the LA or SF club scene pretty fast. The Syd clone is kind of amusing, although I get the appeal-to-chicks, who want a Syd of their own.

Well the two brothers are the woods brothers, so it works.
temples is a terrible name. But woods > temples in every way. The new album is fantastic.

Give Tame Impala's Lonerism a listen if you haven't. I personally prefer Woods and Temples, but Tame Impala is quite good as well IMHO.
