QB question

So I'm in a jam. My two QBs on my roster are Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers, both of whom are on bye. I can only have two QBs on my roster. Do I drop Rivers to pick up a bye week replacement (in my case it would be Mark Sanchez or Kyle Orton) and risk losing him, or do I roll the dice and not play anyone at QB. If it helps, the guy I'm playing against is terrible.

Just drop rivers
At this point any contending team has a QB. It shouldn't hurt you

QB is a pretty big points producer... Drop your D or TE (assuming he's not a Top 10 guy) if you're still in love with Rios.

I;n in first place at 7-2 and on total points and I don't have a QB . I was rolling with Romo until last week, had to drop him because we only have 5 bench spots. Started RG3 last week. Picked up car this morning, then dropped him and took Sanchez and now I'm considering dropping him for Eli

A couple of questions... are you trying to reach the playoffs or are you pretty much in it? Should you lose, or take a big points hit, will it alter your playoffs matchup making it harder to make it out of the first round?
I know, you'll have to project both of the questions. Rivers, choked, but I wouldn't drop him. If Brady gets hurt, then Orton/Sanchez is who's going to be leading you forward. and if you pick Sanchez, he might not be starting week 16. If you're pretty much in the playoffs, and if a loss this wknd doesnt drop you down to where you're playing the dude with the best team week 1 of playoffs... I'd roll with what you got.

I'm first place in my division at 7-2. Second in points. I don't think a loss would kill me here. I'd still likely be second overall even with a loss

Id say hang on to what you got really... worst case, try to trade off Rivers for another spot you need... I wouldnt just drop him.
